Is your NEXT STEP tithing, budgeting, or maybe getting out of debt? Let’s get started!
DETERMINE THE “WHY?”
BUILD A BUDGET
GATHER YOUR PAPER WORK
Bills, receipts, personal expenses, paycheck stubs, and things like that.
SET A DATE
Plan a time with your spouse (if applicable) in a distraction-free environment to tackle your budget together.
TIME TO FILL IN THE BLANKS
Put God first.
The in the book of Malachi it says “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”
God should be first in your life and your finances. And when we give our first and best back to God He promises to bless the rest!
We recommend giving 10% (which is the standard tithe) to God.
Saving = Preparing.
Preparing for a family, preparing for a vacation, preparing for disaster. Saving is being prepared for life and not being knocked down.
We recommned 10% of your income go to this also.
Invest with the expectation that it will grow and fund your dreams. If your budget only focuses on your today, your tomorrow won’t look any better.
We recommend at least 10% of your income be invested.
Now that you’ve put the first and best of your finances in order, the rest is easy!
